The fashion university Esmod in Berlin figuratively gave birth to two unique designers who are defining the fashion market today. Alexandra Fischer-Roehler and Joahanna Kühl first followed their own paths before they founded Kaviar Gauche together in the year 2004. Each part of the duo can let a diverse set of experience flow into their work, which forms the base of this label’s unique designs. Kaviar Gauche stands for a young lifestyle, a richness of ideas and creativity.

The summer collection 2015 is given the melodious name “La Berlinoise” and seems to give fashion a new definition. A big helping of coolness is paired with rocking extras and soft and delicate structures. This is not just 100% Berlin, but also 100% passion. Emphasizing the beauty of femininity, the collection celebrates the skirt and the dress as the epitome of womanliness completely waiving any waiving any pants designs.

Sexiness is receiving a new face because floor-length models are dominating the clothing line instead of skimpy skirts. Soft tulle, light pleat and exciting cutouts give the outfits a wonderful new look which is also marked by summery flower motifs. At the same time, asymmetrical structures refine the look, underlining the sophistication. The whole collection however remains classical in colors like black, white and blue. Another very crucial attribute of this collection is the layer look which has been newly interpreted and proves the label’s innovative character.

In January, you can experience the style of this extraordinary duo live because Kaviar Gauche is going to present their vision of the winter fashion 2015 at the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week  in Berlin.
