To make this already beautiful holiday a tad more glorious, we scrambled together all the effort we could muster to really search the net for a true Christmas gift for you guys.
We know that sooner or later every makeup lover will find him – or herself at the crossroads of finding a good first set of makeup brushes to ease the “work” in the morning. Then you will ask yourself: “Which brushes to choose?” The market is stupid with makeup brushes right now; they’re everywhere and in absolutely every price range. The most renowned ones are from Sigma, MAC and Bobbi Brown, but the Real Techniques brushes by Samantha Chapman, one of my most loved Youtuber from Britian, are considered the SHIT.
Well, they all are incredible, but can in no way be regarded a cheap treat. The only ones which are still affordable for a hobby makeup may be the Real Technique brushes. So I’ve made it my mission to find a cheaper, yet equally good alternative for your guys to try out. After a long night I have stumbled across a 8-piece-set of brushes on eBay that look incredibly similar to my Sigma Kabuki brushes but instead of retailing for over 50€, they only cost 9.99€. I can safely say that I have never pressed the “Buy now” button that fast like ever. The shipping was free as well and I only had to wait for about 2 weeks for them to arrive at my doorstep. The brush hairs are synthetic, which is why they dry up really fast after cleaning them. They were very nicely made and picked up the product really well.
So if you’re in the market for a good set of brushes to start off with, this one’s the one for you as it only retails for 9.99€.
