The perfect lips to kiss – whether in pink, nude or red, they’re everywhere! Kim Kardashian always rocks the light pink look like a queen, Taylor Swift’s sporting her red lips and makes heads turn everywhere she goes and we all know who has the most beautiful nude pout: Kylie Jenner. We mere mortals however don’t have the means to get a personal makeup artist every morning to doll us up. Plus we don’t have the time to do so anyways. But there are a couple of tricks that you can use to save money, time and effort and still come out with a beautiful pout.
The best one I have found so far involves the cupid’s bow. Take a lip liner of your choice and draw a faint X in the middle of your upper lip area. This mark will act as a guideline for you to use in the following steps. As symmetrically as possible, try and drag your liner down to the corners of your mouth and line the contours of your bottom lip as well. Fill the whole thing in and you’re done. The X we did at the beginning is the perfect step to a very polished looking lip. If you get the cupids bow done, you’ve won half the battle.
