The Mercedes-Benz China Fashion Week is a fashion event of its own. Here, western and eastern cultures clash. The focus is of course placed on Asian culture. Nonetheless, international designers from all parts of the world come together and show what they’ve got. The schedule was extremely tight, filled with a lot of surprises and highlights. One highlight definitely was the fashion show by Lianvis which took place on October 26th at 16:30, presenting the trends for the spring and summer collection for the coming year 2015.

But Lianvis already graved the fashion week in spring with the presentation of the “Lian Huiqing” Collection, proving its sense for modern styles. Minimalist cuts and discreet colors determine the fall and winter collection 2014. Clear structures and the plain design concept paired with single statement colors place the female wearer including her feminine and delicate silhouette in the foreground.

Topped off by Asian details including the traditional Mandarin collar or the light, silky shimmer of the fabrics, the dresses and outfits indeed draw us under their spell. My personal favorites clearly are the monochrome dresses which slightly emphasize the hips and the shoulders and are marked by pure minimalism.
