„Callisti“ stands for „the most beautiful ones“. Designer Martina Müller namely creates ready-to-wear lines and couture collections for women who are confident with their bodies and who also want to show this to their environment. At the age of 13, the young Viennese started sewing; and at the age of 19, she already presented her first collection. Later, while studying graphic design, she also visited the fashion centers Miami and New York. In 2007, she finally founded her label Callisti, which has been offering a couture line since 2009.
Martina Müller is inspired by the humans’ many facets, but also by art and architecture. With the help of her collection, she emphasizes the amenity of the female body in a very sensual way and creates an elegant whole, which includes many features that spread sex appeal. Also, her current collection for summer 2014 appears very individual.
Above all, you will find feminine dresses, skirts and delicate tops here, which prove their unique style thanks to numerous details. Each ensemble is embellished with zippers and bondage-like straps. Elegant basic designs are transformed into thrilling highlights by using these details. This interplay of these purist, but outstanding garments and their extraordinary details embodies Callisti’s way of work.
In order to realize her vision, Martina uses dark blue and pastel colors which are then completed with gold highlights. Precious two-piece garments, floor-length and majestic skirts, as well as cargo dresses are completed by these details. Callisti’s well-done and unique look was also featured at the MQ Vienna Fashion Week.
