Hello fellow beauty lovers.

On my little vacation in Asia I did not say no to the local beauty goodies from South Korea and Co. I’ve been hearing mixed remarks about CLIO but I have never seen it in real life before. After browsing through the LIPNICURE shades however, I was convinced by the brand.

The tube itself is not my cup of tea. The lid is matte just like the product itself. The lipstick is small, handy and really easy to handle but not exactly what you’d call eye candy on the vanity table.

Now onto the product itself: The smell is manageable and the color range is amazing. I’ve picked “Revenge Pink” – a bright fuchsia tone. I’ve been promised that the product does not smudge or moves at all. Thinking back I should have reflected on this a couple of seconds longer because when I used it back home I was astounded by the stickiness of the lipstick. It is really hard to distribute because it just sticks to where it was put. It tragically pulls your lips down and that’s exactly how the final look actually looks like. When I tried to clean it off, I was fighting for 5 minutes only to accept my fate and walk out of my flat with remains of the lipstick still sticking to my lips.

I used to research a product thoroughly before I buy something expensive but I kind of really reached for a kind of garbage this time. I paid 15€ for it and now it just stands around looking well, not pretty at all. It’s a pity and therefore really a NOT for me.

Yours truly,
Lana
