- “Hercules” Featuring Dwayne Johnson in Berlin
Last week on Thursday, my favorite highlight took place in Berlin. It was the European premiere of “Hercules”, which includes Dwayne Johnson as the protagonist. I was quite excited as “The Rock” is the only actor I really like.
I was late as always and I did not know at all what to wear. At the end, I chose a short black dress by Guess and matching Guess high heels. The event took place at the Sony Center at Potsdamer Platz. And somehow, this time, the atmosphere was even weirder than before. All average celebrities came here. At the entrance, someone hit my booty. A famous photographer seemed to be a little larking, but I did not like this joke at all. Since when do women like to be welcomed like this?
Seeing the giant red carpet, I got really sick. Thousands of people were standing on the rim and were waiting for Hollywood celebrities. I was almost embarrassed to walk like them over the red carpet. Thank god, I only received positive feedback from the crowd. I really care about how my surrounding is perceiving me.
Next to the giant backdrop was standing a team of horses. I love animals so much, so I needed to go to the horses at once. While I was stroking the animals, I observed what happened on the red carpet. Lena Gerke, I got to know shortly before, was just interviewed. Micaela Schäfer had photos taken of her. I also spotted Natascha Ochsenknecht – this time without her boyfriend – Alexander Posth with his girlfriend and Manuel Cortez. Seeing some of the average celebrities, I wondered how people feel on the red carpet next to such a Hollywood bomb. I left out this part of the carpet where hundreds of photographers were waiting greedily for THE picture of the evening. In my opinion, this part was made for the real stars.
Irina Shayk, director Brett Ratner, Ian McShane, Aksel Hennie, Rufus Sewell and Ingrid Bolso Berdal came to Berlin for the premiere – and “The Rock” looked sexy as always. I was also impressed by Cristiano Ronaldo’s girlfriend Irina, who did not even had to dress up as she was just as beautiful as she is. I mostly realized her extremely smooth skin. It is crazy what women notice, right? Actually, I had to criticize just a little bit because of the hype which was done for her, which was actually unnecessary.
After that, we watched the movie without any stress. It was an absolute men’s movie. But with a lot of popcorn, I could easily survive it. It was a nice evening, which however showed me that in Germany, and especially in Berlin, almost everyone can become a “celebrity”.
