The metallic look is currently a huge trend on the runway, whether it is used on the eyes, lips or nails.
Antonio Marras or Coast + Weber + Ahaus showed us the metallic eye makeup on their fashion shows.
The metallic look is very easy to recrease, because the only things you really need is a metallic cream eyeshadow (like for example Maybelline Color Tattoo Eyeshadows) and a gold shimmery eyeshadow.
For this look I first applied the cream eyeshadow all over my eyelid and then blended it in to my crease and inner corners. Then I put the gold eyeshadow on top of it to intensify the look.
Lastly I applied a slight coat of mascara on my lashes.
This makeup looks perfect combined with a dark red lip (last article: Wine Lips) or a nude lip, if you want the focus to be completely on the eyes.
