The jewelry label Bukkehave simply stands out. It is different and catches a lot of attention in a natural and yet unconventional way and manner. The individual style of the brand emerges from the use of contrasts. Above all, the difference between clearly structured geometry and natural, organic shapes are placed in the center of design. Metal shaped in uncompromising structures meets untreated natural or refined stones and give the amazing jewelry lines by Bukkehave their unprecedented beauty. In particular, the collections “Sparks” and “House of Amber by Bukkehave and the project “Cast away” appealed to me.

An artwork is created with these expressive contrasts which give the jewelry designs a thrilling look. At the first glance, the jewelries almost appear unfamiliar, almost extraterrestrial. At the second glance, they form harmonious masterpieces in the end. This magical effect is based on extraordinary creativity, the eagerness to experiment and a diversity of materials. Exotic stones and modern materials are elements the designer Christine Bukkehave is not afraid of making use of.

The Danish label can be considered young considering the fact that it was founded in 2011. But yet the modern pieces are marked by an incredible intensity: unusual, extraordinary and therefore a must-have for the diverse fashion world. Christine’s creations will be presented at the Copenhagen International Fashion Fair (CIFF) from August 3rd to August 6th.
