A good friend of mine and Urban Explorer himself was very excited to tell me about the ragged parts of the “Ringbahn”. The Ringbahn is a circular railway line of the Berlin S-Bahn system. But straight away,it is only semi-legal as well as fairly dangerous. So, think well before going to these places!

At the Berliner Ring, particularly in the eastern part of the city, there are very many well-preserved S-Bahn buildings. These are more or less difficult to get to. But it is particularly easy in the area around the train station ‘Frankfurter Allee’ because here there are old allotments at the edge of the S-Bahn .

These often allow you to access the S-Bahn bridges. But be careful! Never step into the railroad, because they are charged up. Try to walk along the edge! “And then you can explore the old railway building,” advised my buddy. Here, it seems as if everything has not been touched by a human in ages. Old instruments and crop tools are still in a state that makes them appear serviceable, but all has now been removed from the network. Yes, even files are still around.

According to my source this area is very exciting for an Urban Explorer.
