After Russia has been getting more and more political pressure, German politicians supported the idea of staging World Cup 2018 in another country. Germany is one of the countries that are under discussion; and we Germans know how to host a sports event. No one knows whether the World Cup 2018 is going to become the second “Sommermärchen” which is German and literally translates to “Summer Fairytale”, a term referring to a scenario where Germany wins an important sports competition. Of course, in 2014 this summer fairytale came true when the German soccer team won the World Cup!
