After I watched a fantasy movie a few days ago, I was inspired to do a makeup look, that represents the colors of a mermaid. Although this look is less wearable, it’s a good example for an editorial look that can be used for photoshootings.
1. First I applied a mint shimmery Eyeshadow on the inner part of my eyelid. On the outer part of the lid I applied the eyeshadow ‘Mermaid’ by Makeup Geek, which also inspired this look. To blend the colors out I used a light brown eyeshadow in my crease area.
2. On the lower lash line I used a shimmery orange eyeshadow.
3. Next we get to the eyeliner. I drew it on as usual and then added a line below the flick. I also applied a silver eyeshadow on my very inner corners.
4. To complete the look, apply one coat of mascara to your top lashes. For the highlight I used a silver eyeshadow underneath my brow.
