Have you ever wondered how much it would cost to look like a celebrity? I am not only talking about those numerous plastic surgeries including Botox treatments and all kinds of enhancements. I’m talking about normal stuff like going to the hair dresser, a nice moisturizer or a gym membership.
Whilst doing some researches I discovered how different lifestyles can be. A new hair cut can cost you 20 bucks or 16.000€. I mean, what the hell? That’s what beauty icon Rihanna pays her own hair dresser weekly to make her hair look different every day. The most successful celebrity Beyoncé Knowles according to Forbes on the other hand, has her fun in a nail studio. She once paid 27.000€ for a manicure that included diamonds. Speaking of those gems, according to Mila Kunis, a mixture of diamonds and rubies can make a wonderful facial complexion. That’s what she uses and she happily pays 5.270€ for this peeling. I am sticking to sugar and olive oil for the meantime. Eva Longoria, my queen, has different priorities. Her focus is on her body. She pays her personal trainer 19.200€ to keep her lean and mean. I highly suspect that she pays her own chef a comparable amount of money.
But the true leader of this viscous beauty cycle is with no doubt Kim Kardashian, the wife of Kanye West. Whilst others don’t have the guts to admit to plastic surgery, she let people film her own procedures. She recently admitted how much she actually pays annually to look like she looks. 65.000€ is the price for the Kardashian Look, ladies and gents. 24-carat gold facials, tequila body scrubs and laser treatments are only a few treatments she has to undergo. Twice a month she visits the 5 star Four Seasons to treat her skin, body and nails. Those laser treatments I talked about? They cost 2000€ weekly, guys. The proper care of her hair and lash extensions also have to be looked after on a weekly basis.
Do you want my thoughts on that? I think it sounds like a whole lot of work. Yes, those celebrities ain’t got it easy, right? Considering these enormous costs, some of you might even doubt the ethical correctness of this beauty obsession.
