Paala, a Dutch label, will in the first place present knitwear and printed casual wear for the coming fall and winter season 2014 and 2015. Apart from imaginary birds, which have been placed on black and petrol-colored t-shirts, several other motifs originating from the fauna and flora can be discovered in the collection. Pinecones cover a dark grey mottled underground and simplified branches almost exude something abstract, as they embellish a dulled orange top, which is combined with a boyish blazer.
Apart from minimalism, which marks the collection, and the contrasting prints, it is definitely the tomboy style giving this collection its identity. The casual look particularly is emphasized within an ensemble consisting of a hoodie vest and a bright grey mottled sweater.
As one of the numerous brands which you can meet during the Berlin Fashion Week starting on July 8th, Paala will be present at the Ethical Fashion Show in the Hotel Adlon.
