Olena Sloboda is from Lviv, a city in Ukraine, and studied at the National Academy of Arts fashion design there. Meanwhile, she is regularly presented at the Fashion Week, which took place mid May this year.
Her former collections give a good impression of the designer and her style. Olena Sloboda is definitely fond of using colors. Especially the fall/winter collection 2013 focused on gaudy nuances like red and orange.
Yet, the previous spring/summer collection rather stuck to reserved blue tones. These two collections however differ from each other even more fundamentally. While the winter designs focus on geometrical lines, the summer designs are characterized by rather rounded and fragile approaches.
The previous collections by Olena Sloboda were already celebrated at the Fashion Week in Lviv, thus we can be sure that her latest collection impressed the fashion crowd at the Fashion Week in Lviv as well, featuring clear lines, joyful colors and exciting angular shapes.
