The label Claude Maus is named after the eponymous talented designer who creates casual womenswear looks. The eye-catching, wearable and urban character seems up-to-date thanks to many small details. Claude Maus proceeds with colors like grey, black, beige and facets of the non-colour white. Batik patterns look especially striking and professional, underlining the casual and fluent character of the designs. It’s not like in the sixties, when batik patterns were only worn by hippies- it’s an actual trend nowadays.
The collection consists of many long-sleeved tops, leggings, harem trousers, skirts, jackets, vests and dresses. The cuts vary especially due to the draperies. These small refined details make this collection special. My absolutely favorite look consists of a combination of a skirt and a longsleeve in dark grey. The longsleeve is defined by a multifaceted layering look, hence a casual and comfortable look comes into being. A colored skirt with draperies on both sides completes this outfit.
