An outstanding movie festival will take place at the John-F.-Kennedy-Saal from May 07 to May 11: the 29th Black International Cinema Festival. It’s a movie festival which doesn’t only show impressive movies, but also allows an international and cultural exchange. One of the most contemporary medium, the movie, is used here to offer an unique view of the international perspective.

The documentaries and fictional films show ethnic conflicts and disadvantages from which the black population has to suffer worldwide. Beside the movies, also seminars are offered where people hold discussions in which they try to find out about the reasons and solutions.
