The Fashion Week Poland is awaiting us and will start on May 06. Fortunately, we don’t have to travel so long to get there. Well-known designers and young, new labels get a chance to present their collections. One of them is Kas Kryst, a young designer from Poland, who already launched her first collections during her second year of her studies.
Today, I’m going to introduce the “Nature of the Nature” collection. Here, the look of the modern woman and cosmopolitan and urban, young and individual is formed by crazy prints and crazier details made of studs. The label adds dark colors which create a mysterious character, which again is interrupted by colorful prints. Kas Kryst plays with nuances and also lets the cuts speak volumes.
Beside the short and floor-length dresses it’s the coats which show her talent. The sleeves are voluminous and cape-like and have small vents. They remind you of a mixture of coats, jackets, capes and ponchos and are kept completely in black, or are made of fur. They are marked by draperies, straight cuts or sharp studs on the shoulders and sometimes they are even defined by even the trendy high-low style.
Long trains made of transparent black fabrics join the harmonic color transitions, abstract and geometric patterns on the dresses, skirts and tops. Kas creates a connection between colorful outfits and the draconic coats.
