Born in 1977 in the Polish metropolis Warsaw, Karezoid Michal Karcz had always proved himself as an artist. After finishing upper school in the subject area art, he started to get into the world of photography – a journey which is continuing until now.
He melted together his love for photos and paintings, made possible by digital editing to create new works of art. Thoughts and abstract constructions, surreal landscapes and dream lands were built together by his mind and photographs and created something concrete with an surreal character. You’re diving into his pictures and get lost. They almost seem creepy, but are beautiful at the same time. Then, they’re unfamiliar and do have something wonderful. The dimensions and colors do not seem to be correct, although those are the main things, which give the whole picture something aesthetically dreamlike and surreal. This doesn’t just help him to be successful in his hometown, but also internationally such as in America and in the Arabic area.
So dive into a surreal, but also familiar dream world and make a journey to places, which do not exist!
