Fyodor Golan is actually a London-based label, but is going to be presented as part of the Fashion Week in Rio. The designers behind the brand are Fyodor Podgorny and Golan Frydman, who both originally worked in the field of art.
After they both studied fashion at different universities, they finally met in London and launched their very own label. The duo won the “Fashion Fringe” award and their label was exhibited as the youngest one for the “Fashion Motion” at the Victoria & Albert Museum.
With 3D ensembles of fabrics and filigree details, this summer collection shows the label’s typical character. While the black designs remind us of fetish and the Matrix, the blue shimmery ones rather represent the image of a rainbow fish. Finally, the pink designs prove that this label is real candy for the fashion world.
It will probably also blow people’s minds in Rio. Fyodor Golan is a true treasure, who works out its exotic designs by using unusual textiles.
