The 4th Nashville Fashion Week is going to start on April 1st and ends on April 5th, 2014. Every year this citywide event takes place at the capitol in the US state of Tennessee. In addition to the fashion shows where local and national designers present their collections, a variety of workshops, shopping events and parties are organized. Nashville wants this event to express this city’s creativity and to demonstrate its flourishing fashion industry.
What’s special about NFW is that all the earnings they get from the tickets will go into the Nashville Fashion Forward Fond which will be given to a selected person to support his career. Not only designers, but also experts of the fashion industry, photographers, stylists, fashion bloggers but also makeup and hair stylists can apply for this contest.
This year 30 designers are going to present their latest collections – never have more designers taken the opportunity to take part in this spectacle. Besides other designers, Julia Clancey who already presented her collection at the London Fashion Week as well as in magazines such as Vogue and ELLE will be present. She mainly creates dresses and tops made of chiffon which are embellished with Swarovski crystals. Beautiful.
Johnathan Kayne also presents his pieces at the Nashville Fashion week. He took the 5th place on the TV show “Project Runaway”. He creates dresses and shoes which can be worn on the red carpets and let every women get the feeling of being irresistible.
