Reed Krakoff is shining with his new collection for spring and summer 2014. With a variety of pale pink and beige shades, the designer slowly moves towards more daring colors. This creates the impression of a blurred or a dreamy view. Partly you can’t distinguish between skin and dress.
Plus the fact that some fabrics are lightly translucent, which makes body and dress merge with each other. Just like the skirt, which reaches right beneath knees. It’s light and melts with the model’s body and the stitches.
The yellow dress of this collection really pops out with its details. The model is covered just between her waist and chest. The sections around the neck and leg area are lightly covered with translucent fabrics, which seem like fog laying around those areas.
