Carnival is awaiting us and why not try something extravagant this year? Melita Curphy is the creative director behind the Missmonster Mask project. She runs a small manufactory in Chicago where she produces monster dolls and cool masks. The Texan artist taught herself how to create these creepy artworks. Over time, she even succeeded in perfecting her skills.

Needless to say that the assortment of masks has grown to an extreme extent. Not only masks can be acquired here. Now, you can also get your hands on T-shirts with cool pictures of really weird creatures, bandanas in a werewolf look, posters and books by Missmonster Mask. My favorite piece: The monster trophy which would be a nice decoration hanging above your fireplace. If someone asks you where the hell you got this bizarre piece of décor, you can just tell them that you killed it with your own hands!

The style of the T-shirts will be to the liking of those who are involved in the hardcore scene since they really resemble band t-shirts. But they look so much cooler…

The prices vary a lot, depending on the type of item. Since the masks and dolls are handmade, they are of course rather expensive. But, I think they are worth the money because with these masks you will be the star at every Halloween and carnival party!
