Zoi Giakoumatou presents her very first collection this Winter 2013/14. It’s all about prints and fashionable cuts which bring the look to life.
The designer has eight different looks for us, which top one another in terms of brilliance. Most of the garments have three different color combinations and designs. The colors look natural, it also seems that nature has been the inspiration for the prints as well. All of the formfitting pieces are entangling the wearer’s body like a second skin.
One of the patterns consists of deep black and various brown tones which have the shape of asymmetric stripes and have flowing transitions. It reminds you of nature, it reminds you of the earth and the forest and you can find this pattern on many dresses with different cuts.
A pair of leggings, skirts and tops also are marked by this pattern, which so perfectly harmonizes with the wearer’s skin. What also is very harmonious is the blue and white pattern, it reminds you of the cloudy sky on a cool summer day. Zoi Giakoumatou unites the wearer with nature with the help of her prints.
To round up her collection, she also designs accessories with organic shapes. There are rings, bracelets, pendants and necklaces and they’re all golden! The bracelets remind you of a tree’s branches and bird pendants grace a golden necklace.
The young designer’s first collection makes us excited to see more! I am certain we’re going to hear a lot more from her! That’s why, keep tuning in!
