The label Veronica Beard was founded by the sister-in-laws Veronica Miele Beard and Veronica Swanson Beard in 2010. The label calls itself as a sportswear brand and tries to integrate their classic, sporty and casual designs into peoples’ everyday life.
Their trademark is the Dickey jacket. It’s a tailored suit combined with a different piece of clothing. At Veronica Beard the dickey jacket is worn with an integrated hoodie or a sweatshirt. One can simply change the components of the suit depending on the weather or your mood.
Although the label would put itself into the sportswear corner, their designs for spring and summer 2014 look quite elegant. There are also suits, dresses and skirts. One certain dress looks like an extended vest.
The collection has a big variety of colors and patterns. The yellow shade is one of the brightest in their whole color range. A print combined with the color grey makes their designs look sporty. Besides their whole range of different fabrics, their denim boldly sticks out.
