Dmitriy Samohin is a Ukrainian tattoo artist. Plus, I think he’s one of the best in the Eastern bloc. Just look at all the details and the outlandishness of his motifs!
His colors are bright, colorful and the lines are delicate. This requires hard work. The range of his motifs includes for example machine parts, owls and newts, a Spartan warrior or Batman’s Joker. They all have one thing in common: they are all designed in a realistic style.
His 3D tattoos are also very nice. The portfolio shows a tarantula, which, at first sight, seems like it would spin around on the tattooed person. This effect is achieved by the richness of details and the shadowings. It’s surely not everyone’s taste, but the look is just amazing.
