The variety of colors and patterns is captivating. The resort collection is very versatile compared to the collection for spring and summer 2014. This time, the designer worked with some patterns with which she installed highlights into her designs. You cannot only find reptile-like textures, but also dots and stripes in her leather material she used. Being fan of stripes, I like the striped skirt, the leather tube top and the casual jacket the most.
I never knew how well one can combine the reptile look with stripes. The colors are more covered compared to the spring and summer collection. Thus, black, crème, blue and pastel shades are emphasized besides the eye-catching cuts.
The comparison between the collection for spring and summer 2014 and the resort collection 2014 shows us, how flexible a designer can be with their collections, without neglecting their own style. Since I am a friend of colors, I am not surprised that I kind of fell in love with the resort collection.
