Modernity and urban fashion with a rocking character – that’s the winter collection 2013/14 of the designer Liza Odinokikh. She creates a feminine silhouette with the cuts. Thus, the body of the wearer is emphasized by these body-shaping silhouettes. Liza Odinokikh doesn’t know any limits when it comes to materials; and mixes the fabrics with leather. Rock ‘n’ Roll and femininity melt into each other and become one. There are only one or two colors including orange and black. Some creations are single-colored, on others she mixed two colors with each other; and those harmonize in an unique way.
The collection consists of dresses, tops, pants and jackets. The pants are plain while dresses and jackets are very wild and exciting. A black leather jacket with an asymmetrical zipper is decorated with a ripped fabric, which is only attached on one sleeve and the front of the jacket. An orange dress reveals some parts of the skin on the hip. This looks very dynamic. The fact that the dresses are completely made of leather, creates a straight and tough look.
The rocking image isn’t only made for those who love Rock’ n’Roll. Liza Odinokikh creates a mix of obscene and elegant elements and turns the leather jacket into a wearable piece for women, but in a way which you rarely have seen before.
