“The Storm” is the name of Pinpanee Israngkun’s new collection. It describes the silence before the storm. With her new models she commemorates the recent natural disasters, the storm tides which hit Thailand, her home country. At the same time, this collection is her final work. Here, she combines her passion for fashion and her origin.
The color grey in this collection represents the sky, which, after the catastrophe, looks as if nothing happened before. This grey has a blue-ish touch which changes its color depending on how the light falls on the fabric. Pinpanee uses many drapings which represent the waves. The raw silk completes the whole look. Additionally, she hides some strands so that she can create the exceptional forms of her designs. The partly transparent fabrics look as if they were weightless.
Wide skirts, flowing dresses and tops with trains – this is the feminine look of the collection. With this fashion you will become little fairies who fascinate all the people around them. The main feature is the many pleats, which enhance the beauty of every model. The hypnotizing style appears like a dream which is caught in a bubble – unique and unmistakable!
