The designer Karin Bretteister comes from Munich. Even though she just graduated in 2012, she has already won many prizes with her collections. Her inspiration is pulled out from nature, which is as versatile as the designer herself. The four elements, air, water, earth, fire influenced her a lot and are mirrored in the collection’s name. All of us can connect specific ideas with the elements. Karin lets her own ones melt into her designs. Thus, she creates fashion which harmonizes with nature.
One remarkable design is the brown pants which are feminine, detailed and strong at the same time. A yellow leather jacket stands for the fire – it ends in a long knitted collar which can be used as a scarf or poncho. A light white dress stands for the air and looks like it is weightless. It consists of strands which are braided into each other.
