In 2012, the French designer Clément Taverniti founded his label Still Good. Thanks to his father, he early on had joined the fashion world. His aim is to unify two worlds, the street style and the high-end fashion.

The name “Still Good” comes from a statement a derelict made. A man pulls out an old pair of jeans out of the garbage can and says: “Still Good”. This anecdote also matches his new collection for fall and winter 2013/14. There, he rummages around an old case full of passed trends and pulls out some of them; and realizes that they are still usable.

An old trend which now becomes a new trend, is for example the camouflage design. A delicate military pattern can be found on the blouses and jackets in brownish or typical green shades. However, only the shoulder and breast areas are covered with this pattern.

While the rest stays monotonous, in this area there’s something edgy. But it’s not only the camouflage design. The collection is also marked by paisley prints or graphic designs, which you can see on one of the neckties. Clément likes to leave out one part in every design which looks a little strange. Be it the breast, the collar or the cufflinks, or even the pant legs; he know how to irritate with sophistication.

Still Good is really still good. The designs are real eye catchers and show that it’s not only about street style, but also high-end finishing.
