Das spanische Label Ailanto wurde von den Brüdern Inaki und Aitor Munoz gegründet, nachdem sie ihre Studien an der Universität der Künste in Barcelona abgeschlossen hatten. Nach bereits kürzester Zeit gewann das Label an Popularität und war bereits 2012 auf der Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in Madrid und gewann kurz darauf den Best Spanish Designer Award by Glamour Magazin. Aber was zeichnet das Label Ailanto aus und verhalf ihnen zu so schnellem Erfolg?
Das Label Ailanto ist vor allem bekannt für seine aufwändigen Musterungen und die dazu harmonierende klassische Designlinie für Frauenmode. Auch bei der Farbauswahl schrecken die Brüder nicht vor der gesamten Bandbreite der Farben zurück, sodass sich verstärkt die Farben Braun, Rot, Lila, Schwarz, Grau und viele weitere Farben in den Kombinationen ergänzen.
Bei den Mustern ist bestimmt etwas für viele Geschmäcker dabei. Angefangen bei floralen Prints über Hahnentritt bis zu großflächigen grafischen Mustern verstehen es die Designerbrüder, auch diese Muster untereinander zu mischen, ohne dass die Looks hierdurch zu überladen wirken.
Die Schnitte sind sehr feminin und klassisch, sodass alle Looks trotz der stark variierenden Farb- und Musterauswahl nicht überladen wirken. Neben vielen Mänteln, Hosen, Pencil Skirts, Blusen und Kleidern sind auch meine geliebten Einteiler mit von der Partie. Ganz besonders gefällt mir zum Beispiel der schwarz-rot gestreifte Einteiler in Kombination mit dem schwarzen Mantel hierzu.
Der Look ist meiner Meinung nach edel und sportlich zugleich, da insbesondere die Musterung die Eleganz etwas auflockert.
Außerdem gefallen mir auch die leger geschnittenen Hosen in Kombination mit der Hahnentrittweste und der transparenten Bluse hierzu. Man kann sich für das Jahr 2014 bereits merken, dass die Hosen wieder weiter getragen werden können und der Skinny Look nicht mehr das Monopol auf Hosenschnitte inne hat. Hin und weg bin ich aber vor allem von der olivfarbenen Flokatijacke. Neben der Regenjacke hatte letztes und auch dieses Jahr die Flokatijacke ihr modisches Revival. Neben der tollen Optik hat diese Art von Jacke natürlich den Vorteil, dass sie wärmt und sich unwahrscheinlich gut anfühlt. Auch als bekennender Farbmuffel finde ich doch einige der Kombinationen ganz toll und wenn Weihnachten nicht schon vorbei wäre, würde ich mir die Flokatijacke wünschen!!!

The Spanish label Ailanto was founded by the brothers Inaki and Aitor Munoz, after they graduated at the University of Arts in Barcelona. Shortly after, the label got really popular and was part of the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week 2012 in Madrid, winning the “Best Spanish Designer Award from Glamour Magazine” shortly after. But what makes the label so special and what helped them achieve all this success in such a short time?The label Ailanto is especially known for their elaborate patterns and the fitting traditional designs for women that perfectly harmonize, which both harmonize with each other. For the range of colors, I can only say one thing: The brothers aren’t afraid of experimenting with all kinds of colors, brown, red, violet, black, grey. Countless different dyes complement all of the styles.
With all the patterns, there certainly is something for everyone’s taste. Starting with the floral prints, there also are greyhound patterns and even large graphic shapes. The brothers perfectly understand how to mix these patterns without creating a bloated look. Ailanto uses this to give their very feminine and traditional cuts an outstanding and unique charm. Among the many pencil skirts, pants, coats, blouses and dresses there also are my beloved onesies. I especially liked the onesie with red and black stripes worn with a black coat. In my opinion, that look is sporty and elegant at the same time, because the pattern especially lightens things up.
What I also really like are the pants with casual cuts worn with a greyhound patterned vest and a transparent blouse. For 2014 you can keep in mind that the skinny look’s reign has ended – pants are finally a little wider again. However, I think I really fell in love with the olive green flokati jacket. I’m so happy that the raincoat wasn’t the only garment that finally had its comeback – but also the flokati jacket! It’s not only the cool style it has that makes this jacket awesome, but also that it is keeping you incredibly warm while feeling super comfortable! Even though I’m a proud color grouch, I really love many of these looks and if only Christmas wasn’t over already..I would certainly be asking Santa to gift me Ailanto’s flokati jacket!!!
