Honor NYC lädt mit ihrer Frühlings- und Sommerkollektion 2014 auf eine blühende Fashion-Wiese ein, die der reellen ordentlich Konkurrenz macht. Dabei werden alle möglichen Szenarien abgedeckt: Blumen können Rot, Rosa sowie Blau sein und auch ordentlich Grün ist in der Kollektion zu finden. Die Drucke bleiben dabei immer schön leicht, hell und freundlich, besonders durch ihre grafischen Elemente, die sich fließend über den Stoffen verteilen. Die Kollektion geht sogar so weit, den verblühten Löwenzahn in ihr Design mit einzubringen. Das Kleid selbst ist blau – am Oberkörper etwas dunkler als an den kurzen Ärmeln und dem langen Rock. Der ganze Rock, wie auch der linke Ärmel sind dabei mit den filigranen Löwenzahnsamen bedeckt.
Ein anderes Kleid wendet sich von den Blumen ab und eher dem Sternenhimmel zu. Es ist bodenlang und schwingt weit um die Beine. Ab den Knien schichten sich nämlich verschiedene, voluminösere Lagen übereinander, die bestickt sind mit kleinen, silbrigen Sternen. Diese sind auch auf dem ebenfalls schwarzen Kragen zu finden. Das Kleid selbst wirkt als wäre es trägerlos, ist es aber nicht. Sehr feiner, transparent-weißer Stoff legt sich über das Brustbein der Trägerin und verbindet so Kragen und Kleid.
Honor NYC präsentiert in ihrer Frühlings- und Sommerkollektion 2014 das Ambiente einer mit Blumen wild bewachsenen und von Sternen behüteten Wiese, die wie ein Ort des Rückzugs und des Schutzes am eigenen Körper getragen werden kann.

Honor NYC takes our hands and leads us to a green fashion field full of flowers with its spring and summer collection 2014. Of course, every possible scenario has been taken into consideration: I mean, flowers can be red, pink or blue, while the grass is green. All these colors can be found in the collection. In addition, the prints always stay light and pretty, bright and friendly thanks to the graphic elements which fluently spread all over the flowing fabrics. What caught my attention is the dandelion motif which has been installed into one design. The dress itself is blue. But the top is of a darker color than the short sleeves and the long skirt. The entire skirt as well as the sleeves are adorned by filigree dandelion seeds.
Another dress turns away from the floral side of the label and looks up into the starry sky. It is floor-length and moves and swings softly to the movements of the legs. From the knees on, different, voluminous layers are placed over each other, which are embroidered with small, silvery stars. These can also be seen on the black collar. The dress itself appears as if it was strapless, but it isn’t. a very fine and transparent fabric has been draped over the sternum of the wearer, connecting the collar and the dress.
Honor NYC’s spring and summer collection radiates the aura of a lovely flower growing wild underneath a panoply of stars on a beautiful meadow. It presents a sanctuary, a place where you can feel safe – a sanctuary which you can wear on your body.
