Günseli Türkay wurde bereits mit ihrer neuesten Frühlings- und Sommerkollektion 2014 vorgestellt, doch so unterschiedlich die heutigen Künstler sind, so unterschiedlich sind auch ihre Kollektionen – schließlich lässt sie sich von ihnen inspirieren. Die Herbst- und Winterkollektion 2013 ist also komplett anders und es kann auch nicht gesagt werden, dass sich IHR Stil herauslesen lässt. Die Ansätze sind einfach zu unterschiedlich. Während im Sommer mit farbigen Prints gearbeitet wird, zeigen sich hier eher bissige Schlangen und toughe Frauen – oder umgekehrt.
Dabei geht das Schlangenmuster schon ab und zu auch in eine rot-orange Farbpalette über: Wie bei einem langen Kleid, welches von einem schwarzen Oberkörper-Korsett umschnürt ist, als würde dieses das Model stützen oder ihre Waffen tragen. Oft ist das Schlangenmuster aber auch in Grautönen gehalten, wie bei einem anderen, kurzen Kleid, welches skurrilerweise ein Revers vorne trägt.
Aber auch in natürlichen Brauntönen kommt das Muster zum Einsatz. Dabei wird mit spitzen Formen in verschiedenen Mustern ein wirklich edler und einzigartiger Ausschnitt gestaltet, ganz anders als der runde eines trägerlosen Kleides. Hier wird sogar noch eine Halskette aus Federn dazu präsentiert, was eine Stimmung erzeugt, als wären es die Überreste einer Beute der Schlange. Günseli Türkay beweist mit ihrer Herbst- und Winterkollektion 2013, wie wandelbar sie doch ist und wie speziell ihre Kreationen auch werden können, je nachdem, wie ihre Inspirationsquelle ausfällt.

Günseli Türkay’s latest spring and summer collection for 2014 was already introduced to you. But as different and contrasting modern artists are, they often create artworks and collections which are completely different. After all, their source of inspiration will never stay the same. The fall and winter collection 2013 accordingly contains looks completely different from the spring and summer assortment. While colorful prints are used in summer, here aggressive snakes present themselves in the cold season as well as tough women.
The snake pattern can however also be colored in red and orange colors, which can be seen on a long dress, which is encased in a corset. Said corset looks as if it is supporting the torso. Often, the snake pattern however is colored in grey shades just like in one short dress, which sports lapels in the front as an extraordinary detail.
But you can also find this pattern in natural brown nuances. At the same time, angular shapes are made use of on one different dress, which compose a wonderfully noble and unique neckline. This dress is contrasting with a short dress marked by a round neckline. Here, a necklace made of feathers is presented additionally, which makes the entire outfit look like the remains of a snake’s prey. Günseli Türkay shows how changeable an artist can be with her creations, depending on what inspired them.
