Die talentierte und kreative Gosia Baczynska gilt als die vielversprechendste polnische Designerin dieser Zeit. Diesen Ruf stellt sie auch in der Frühjahrskollektion 2014 wieder unter Beweis. Bereits am Anfang ihrer Karriere schwamm sie gegen den Strom, alleine weil das Business eines Fashion-Designers in dem ex-kommunistischen Land nicht unbedingt angesehen war. So liefert sie auch in der Frühlings- und Sommerkollektion 2014 Provokationen vom Feinsten.
Die Haare der Models sind übertrieben toupiert, lenken aber trotzdem nicht von der Mode ab. Denn so manche Designs sind provokativ duchsichtig. Der schwarz-weiße Jumpsuit, der meine Aufmerksamkeit erregte, ist es aber nur teilweise. Die schwarzen Stellen in dem Muster, das wohl dem Hahnentritt nachempfunden ist, sind transparent. Die Weißen wiederum nicht. Der Overall an sich ist lang und hat halblange Ärmel. Das Outfit eignet sich sozusagen mit der integrierten Lüftung also perfekt für den Sommer.
Ein weiteres Thema ist wohl Dreidimensionalität. Sie wird in einem türkisen Rock geschaffen, in dem pinke Kreuze eingenäht sind und dadurch einen Effekt erzeugen, als würde der Rock an manchen Stellen aufspringen. In weiteren Outfits hat die Modemacherin sogar Kreise eingearbeitet, welche mal herausragen und mal nach innen gehen.
In ihrer Frühlings- und Sommerkollektion macht die polnische Designerin ihrem Namen wieder alle Ehre. Mit viel Experimentierfreude geht Gosia Baczynska an den Sommer heran und lädt zum Spielen und Spaß ein.

The talented and creative Gosia Baczynska is known as the most promising Polish designer of our time. This reputation was also proven in her Spring Collection 2014. At the beginning of her career, she already counteracted the mainstream, solely because the business of a fashion designer in an ex-communistic country was not considered very high. Thus she also gives us pure provocativeness in her Spring and Summer Collection 2014.
The hair of the models is exaggeratedly backcombed, but not distracting from the actual fashion; namely, some of the designs are pretty sheer. The black-white jumpsuit which caught all my attention is just partly transparent. The black spots in the pattern which is reminiscent of the hounds tooth pattern are transparent while the white spots were not. The overall is rather long and it has half-length sleeves. The outfit is practically made for the summer with its integrated ventilation.
Another topic would be three-dimensionality. It is incorporated into a turquoise skirt by sewing pink crosses into it, creating an effect as if the skirt would stand out on certain spots. The fashion designer even used circles on other outfits which sometimes protrude to the outside or the inside.
In her spring and summer collection, the Polish designer once again does her name justice. Gosia Baczynska welcomes the summer with her eagerness to experiment and invites all of you for games and fun.
