Customellow, der Name des Labels, ist ein gutes Beispiel für Neologismus der englischen Sprache. Zusammengesetzt aus den Wörtern „Conventions“, „Customized“, „Clothing“ und „Customary Behavior“ soll es Assoziationen an Wörter wie „geschmeidig“ und „sinnlich“ wecken.
Die Kollektion ist eine stilvolle Symbiose aus nobler Anzugmode und legerer Alltagsbekleidung. Für diese Optik sorgen gerade, körperbetont Schnitte und gedeckte Farben im Verbund mit jugendlichen Einflüssen in Form von kleinen Prints auf Sweatshirts. Sowohl dreiteilige Anzüge aber auch legere Kleidung prägen die Kollektion durch ihren zurückhaltenden aber ästhetischen Stil.
Die verwendeten Materialien sind allesamt natürlichen Ursprunges: Leder, Wolle, Flachs und gestärkte Garne. Auch diese Auswahl verhilft zu dem Bild des jungen Wilden mit Geschmack. Customellow, this label’s name is a pretty good example for neologism of the English language. Putting together the words “conventions”, “customized”, “clothing” and “customary behavior”, this should evoke associations with the words “smooth” and “sensual”.
This collection is a stylish symbiosis of noble suit fashion and casual leisure wear. This look is ensured by means of formfitting cuts and muted colors, put together with youthful influences in form of small patterns on sweatshirts. Both, three-piece suits and casual clothing are shaping this collection with their modest but also aesthetic style.
The utilized materials are all of natural origin: leather, wool, flax and starched yarn. This assortment also supports the image of the young wilds with taste. The colors are either dark or muted. There are just a few exceptions, like a bright yellow. In general though, this collection relies on brown, ochre, as well as beige and for contrasts they primarily use blue.
