Bei dem Label Demobaza handelt es sich um den Zusammenschluss von Demo & Tono – zwei außerordentlich kreative Köpfe, welche 2008 ihr Label gründeten. Der Look von Demobaza ist futuristisch, minimalistisch und ganz nach meinem Geschmack. Das ist Mode, gemacht für Helden aus Science-Fiction-Filmen. Die aus Bulgarien stammenden Designer Demo & Tono kreieren sowohl Männer- als auch Frauenkleidung. Die Looks sehen alle ein wenig trashy aus und erinnern an eine moderne Interpretation des Grunge-Looks. Die Frühjahrs- und Sommerkollektion 2014 trägt den passenden Namen Awakeness („Erwachen”).
Bei den Farben liegt der Fokus auf Schwarz, Grau und Blautönen, welche den Industrial-Look untermalen. Die Schnitte sind lässig und weiblich zugleich. Ein wichtiges Stilmittel ist die Verwendung von mehreren Lagen und Schichten von Stoffen. Weiterhin sind auch viele Cut-Outs in den Tops und Hosen integriert. Besonders gut gefallen mir auch die Einteiler in kurz oder auch lang. Die Outfits sind sportlich und rebellisch und versetzten mich in eine Welt voller Abenteuer.
Bei der Awakeness Kollektion für Männer sind die Looks gleichsam rebellisch und futuristisch. Die Hosen sind im modernen Slim-Fit-Look mit vielen Cut-Outs und Nähten versehen, sodass ein rauer Look entsteht. Die Männertops überzeugen mich insbesondere aufgrund der Oversize-Kapuzen. Passend zu den kühleren Tagen gibt es auch einige Jacken, die nicht nur durch ihr Äußeres sondern auch durch ihre Funktionalität überzeugen. Bei Demobaza handelt es sich meiner Meinung nach um ein Label mit sehr viel Zukunft aufgrund ihres kreativen Muts und dem klaren Wiedererkennungscharakter.

The label Demobaza is the product of the collaboration between Demo & Tono – two really creative artists, who established their own label in 2008. Demobaza’s look is futuristic, minimalistic and is really my taste. This is fashion tailored for heroes from science-fiction movies. The Bulgarian designers Demo & Dono create men’s and women’s fashion. All of the looks have kind of a trashy effect to them and remind you of a modern interpretation of the grunge look. The Fall and Summer Collection 2014 has a fitting name to it: Awakeness.
As for the colors, the designers focused on black, grey and blue which underline the industrial look. The cuts are casual and feminine at the same time. A very important stylistic device here is multiple layers of different cloths. Further, the label uses plenty of cut-outs for the tops and pants. What I especially liked, are the short and long onesies. The outfits are sporty and rebellious while carrying me off into another world.
The Awakeness collection for men features looks that are just as rebellious and futuristic. Trousers and pants have the modern slim-fit look with many cut-outs and seams, so a pretty tough and raw look is created. The men’s tops especially convinced me because of the oversize hoods. For the cold days, Demobaza offers a few jackets which not only look great, but are also very functional. In my opinion, Demobaza is a label which we will hear and see a lot more from in the future thanks to their creative courage and their unmistakable style.
