Die Marke Horace zeigt düstere Mode und lässt damit die Trägerinnen umso mehr strahlen. Hinter Horace steckt ein starkes Team an Designern im Bereich Mode aber auch Illustration. Als Freunde begannen sie und endeten als erfolgreiche Geschäftsführer. Mit ihrem Label sind sie nun in aller Welt zu finden. Man würde denken, dass bei einer ganzen Gruppe vielleicht zu viele Einflüsse aufeinander treffen und ein buntes Durcheinander kreiert wird. Denn viele Köche verderben angeblich den Brei. Dem ist aber nicht so. Die neue Herbst- und Winterkollektion 2013 arbeitet fast ausschließlich mit Schwarz und Weiß.
Nur wenig Farbe wird punktuell eingesetzt als Schriftzug „TV“, oder meist als batikähnlicher Print. Diese driften dann auch in wirklich schrille Farben ab, doch bleibt der allgemeine Eindruck von den Kleidungsstücken eher dunkel. Dabei wird oben überwiegend auf Oversize-Schnitte gesetzt, während die Beine in engen Hosen wunderbar in Szene gesetzt werden. Natürlich ist die Hose, die unsere Aufmerksamkeit erregte, schwarz und trägt mit Ledereinsätzen, geformt als Dreiecke, ein Geometrisches Muster.
Geometrische Muster und Linien sind durch die ganze Kollektion immer wieder zu entdecken, wie auch auf einem T-Shirt, welches übersät ist mit weißen Dreiecken auf schwarzem Untergrund. Die kantigen, spitzen und dadurch teilweise aggressiven Formen erzeugen eine von Spannung geladene Wirkung. Kombiniert mit Lederleggings ergibt dieses Ensemble ein absolut junges und cooles Outfit. Dieses Outfit symbolisiert genau das, was den Style von Horace ausmacht. Er ist jung, frech und provokant. Er ist für die Straße gemacht.

The label Horace shows sinister fashion and lets the wearer shine even more with that. Behind Horace, there is a strong team of designers in terms of fashion and illustration. They started as friends and ended up as successful executive directors. With their label you can now find them worldwide. One might assume that the whole group has a lot of influences, thus creating huge mess. Because there is an old saying: Many cooks ruin the mash. With Horace, this assumption is wrong. The latest Fall and Winter Collection 2013 is absolutely harmonic, focusing on black and white.
There is not much color and if there is some, it is a print reminding you of batik or a “TV” writing. However, these drift into really flashy colors, but the common impression remains: The garments are rather dark. Here they primarily make use of oversize cuts for the tops, while the legs are perfectly put in the limelight with slim fits pants. Of course the pants that got our attention were black and had geometrical adornments on them – triangular leather details.
Geometrical patterns and lines can be found time and again in the collection, for example on a t-shirt. It is loaded with white triangles on black background. The angular, spiky and sometimes aggressive forms have a really suspenseful effect. In addition with the leather leggings this ensemble results in an absolutely young and cool outfit. The outfit symbolizes exactly what makes Horace’s style so special. It is young, wicked and provocative. It is made for the street.
