Gewehre, Kugeln, Handgranaten…oh, halt mal – kommt euch das auch so bekannt vor? Ja, dachte ich mir doch. Lovebullets habe ich neulich erst in einen meiner Einträge inkorporiert aber heute möchte ich euch ein paar Schätze aus der Männerkollektion vorstellen.
Doch bevor ich dazu komme, habe ich ein paar sehr coole Facts über die Entstehung der Idee und später auch der Firma. Artistic Director Martin Jegede hat damals eine Fantasy Geschichte verfasst, die die Geschichte von 4 Love Creatures erzählt, deren Mission es ist, Waffen jeglicher Art aus den Händen eines bösen Diktators zu reißen. Inspiriert von der Geschichte, wurde der erste Lovetank gebaut, ein früherer Militärpanzer, umgeformt zu einem DJ Pult. Während die Gäste beschäftigt waren die Nacht wegzutanzen, konnten sie vereinzelt die Schmuckstücke von Martin Jegede in der It-Gruppe bewundern und somit wurde Lovebullets geboren.
Ich hoffe, der kleine Ausflug in die Vergangenheit hat euch nicht allzu sehr gelangweilt, ich komme jetzt auch sofort zu den schönen Teilen der Männerkollektion.

Bullets, Grenades and guns …wait a second – doesn’t this sound awfully familiar? Well, I should hope so because I recently featured a whole page about Lovebullets right on this blog. I introduced you guys to some of the fine artistic jewellery Martin Jegede has done so far but today I’m back for more! I will show you some of my favourite pieces out of the men’s collection to spice things up a little.
But before we get to that, let’s just pause for a minute and listen to the incredible story behind the brand called Lovebullets. Artistic Director Martin Jegede wrote a fantasy story about 5 love creatures who fought for the good things in life. They dedicated their lives to freeze destructive weapons of an evil dictator. Inspired by that story the first love tank was build. In case you were wondering, a love tank is a former tank transformed into something that makes the people feel good, in this case a dj booth. And whilst the crowd was dancing the night away some managed to catch a glimpse on some accessoires the IT crowd was wearing and voila, that’s how Lovebullets was born.
I hope I didn’t bore you to death with my sobby little story but without further ao, I will show you some of my favourite pieces of the collection.
