Dedicated ist ein bisschen wie „The Big Bang Theory“. Irgendwie „nerdig“, intelligent, humorvoll und allgemein zugänglich.
Das Label hat T-Shirts, Pullis, Caps, Schutzhüllen für Handy, Computer und mehr, sowie Akkuladekabel im Sortiment. Meist sind sie mit spitzfindigen und witzigen Slogans oder Bildern bedruckt, die mehr als tausend Worte sagen. Es kommt dabei nicht selten vor, dass diese an die Comicszene angelehnt sind, oder alten Geräten ein Come-Back bescheren.
Neben den Comichelden, welche in absurden Situationen auf die T-Shirts gedruckt wurden, ist auch eine lässig schlendernde Zigarettenpackung zu finden. Sie ist leicht geöffnet und macht so den Anschein, als würde sie lachen. Selbst hat sie eine brennende Zigarette in der Hand und erregt alles in allem ein wohlwollendes Gefühl in einem – bis man den Aufdruck liest. „Smoking can cause a slow and painful death“. So pointiert und direkt stand dies wohl selten auf einer Packung. Oft werden Warnhinweise, wie die Gefahr impotent zu werden, schnell mal überlesen. Doch der Gedanke an einen langsamen und qualvollen Tod bleibt haften.
Auch bei den Schutzhüllen, welche übrigens für Iphone 4/4S, 5 und Galaxy S3 erhältlich sind, finden wir wirklich vortrefflich charmante Designs. Sie verwandeln schnell mal das Handy in einen Stapel Dollarscheine oder in eine alte Kamera oder Kassette. In einem kleinen Sketch führt das Label aber auch wieder einen Spiegel der Gesellschaft auf, wie er treffender nicht sein könnte. Auf einem türkisen Hintergrund stehen sich ein rosa Vogel und ein rosa Wurm gegenüber. Beide tragen Zylinder, Schnauzbart und Monokel und schauen sich fragend an. Der Titel ist „Manners Vs. Instinct“ und zeigt auf, wie sich die Gesellschaft immer weiter von der Natur wegbewegt und dabei selbst die grundlegendsten Instinkte vergisst, bis selbst Vogel und Wurm vergessen, dass sie eigentlich Todfeinde sind.
Dedicated beweist wirklich Humor und auch Stil. Die Designs amüsieren und regen zugleich an. Für ein Lächeln und auch den ein oder anderen Gesprächsstoff ist mit Dedicated auf jeden Fall gesorgt.

Dedicated is a little like „The Big Bang Theory“. Kind of nerdy, intelligent, humorous and available for everyone.
The label offers T-shirts, sweatshirts, caps, smartphone cases, computers and much more, like battery loading cables. Most of them have funny images or slogans printed on them, which say more than a thousand words. It’s often the case that these are based on comics. Moreover, old nerdy devices sometimes are printed on the tops.
Among the comic heroes, which are printed in absurd situations on the T-shirts there is also a casually strolling pack of cigarettes. It is slightly opened and thus makes the impression that it is laughing. It even has a burning cigarette in its hand and all in all you get a warm feeling looking at it until you see what is written on it: “Smoking can cause a slow and painful death”. It doesn’t get any more direct and pointed on a pack of fags. Those warnings are often overlooked, but the thought of a slow and painful death stays.
The smartphone cases, which are available for Apple iPhone 4/4S, 5 and Samsung Galaxy S3, also have wonderfully charming designs. They make the phone into a stack of dollar bills or into an old camera or tape. In a little sketch the label mirrors society in a way which couldn’t be more fitting. On a cyan background there are a pink bird and a pink worm facing each other. Both have a top hat, mustache and a monocle and look at each other. The title is: “Manner vs. Instinct” and shows how the society keeps differentiating from nature and that even the most basic instincts are forgotten. Even the worm and the bird forget that they are enemies to death.
Dedicated really proves humor and style. The designs amuse and encourage. With a giggle and some topics of conversation Dedicated can provide us in any case!
