Das Label aus Kalifornien zeichnet sich durch mehrere Besonderheiten aus. Zum einen sind die Schuhe in Handarbeit und aus besten Ledersorten und Stoffen entstanden, und zum anderen vereinen sie eine edle Silhouette mit rebellischem Look. Jeder Schuh ist etwas Besonderes und nur limitiert erhältlich.

Das Modell eines klassischen Herrenschuhs wie man ihn aus dem Business-Bereich kennt, Oxfords, Brogue-Modelle oder Ankle Boots bekommen im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes einen neuen Anstrich. Was das Label so jung und rebellisch macht, ist der Mix aus diesen klassischen Schnitten, Sneakers und einer gehörigen Portion Outdoor. Wie das gehen soll, ohne überkandidelt zu wirken?

„The Colby – Tank“, ein 300$ Schuh, ist geschnitten wie ein Ankle Boot mit der dicken Reliefsohle eines Outdoor-Schuhs. Hinzu kommen ein tarnpanzermäßiges Dunkelgrün und gedecktes Leo-Muster. Das sportliche Design auf der Kappe des Schuhs verkörpert hierbei die Seele des Sneakers.

Eine ganz andere Welt bietet hingegen „The Hampton – Floral“. Ein Oxford mit Blumenmuster und weißen Schnürsenkeln. Hingegen hat der „Hampton Mohawk“ ein weißes, geometrisches Muster. Wie der Name es schon sagt, wirkt das Design indianisch/ethnisch.
„The Mercer Cammo“ ist ein Hingucker schlechthin! Obwohl es ein Schuh mit Tarnfarbe ist, wird er nie übersehen werden.  Wiederum andere Schuhe fallen durch gefilzte Wolle oder geflochtenes Leder auf.

This Californian label really is special. On the one hand, the shoes are made by hand with the best leather and fabrics. On the other hand, they combine noble silhouettes with the rebellious look. Every shoe is something special and only limitedly available.

The model of a classic business shoe for men as we all know like oxfords, brogue-models or ankle boots underwent some changes. What makes this label so youthful and rebellious is the mixture of classic cuts, sneakers and a big portion of outdoor-style. How could this actually work without appearing too overdone?

“The Colby-Tank” are 300$ shoes which are cut like ankle boots, defined by thick soles of outdoor shoes. Furthermore, they are adorned with a dark camouflage green and a leopard pattern. The sporty design on the toe cap portrays the soul of the sneakers.

A completely different world is provided by “The Hampton-Floral”, oxfords with a floral pattern and white shoelaces, whereas the “Hampton Mohawk” is equipped with a white geometric pattern. As the name already suggests, the design seems quite Amerindian and ethnically inspired.

“The Mercer Cammo” is an absolute eye-catcher! Even though it’s once again another shoe with a camouflage pattern, they definitely won’t ever be overlooked. Then, there are other shoes which stand out with their felted wool or braided leather.
