Barre Noire soll beobachtet werden, heißt es. Das Label sei eines der Vielversprechendsten zurzeit und sogar Stars würden den jungen Designer bewundern, doch ist das Label wirklich so besonders?
Barre Noire wurde 2009 von Timm Süßbricht gegründet. Das Label ist also noch nicht allzu alt und muss sich immer noch gegen Altbewährte und Neuankömmlinge durchsetzen. Doch das scheint ihm nicht allzu schwer zu fallen. Schließlich heißt es, er wäre der Paradiesvogel unter den grauen Tauben Berlins.
Für den Herbst/Winter 2013 trifft das wohl auch zu. Während die üblichen Kollektionen relativ düster ausfallen, greift Timm kräftig in den Farbtopf. Hellblau und Neongrün fügen sich zu einem Leopardenmuster zusammen und schmücken ein kurzes, hoch geschlossenes und langärmliges Kleid. Knallige Pink- und Rottöne werden für ein Paisleymuster verwendet und lassen einen Hosenanzug erstrahlen.
Während der Herbst/Winter in der Kollektion von Barre Noire so richtig erstrahlt, bleibt der Sommer eher etwas nüchtern. Für 2014 sind die Designs oft weiß und clean. Mit dem Setting und dem Ausdruck des Models wirkt das Lookbook sogar bedrückend, als wäre sie eingesperrt. Resigniert sinkt sie in der Ecke zu Boden, in ihrem langärmligen, kurzen, weißen Kleid.
Barre Noire geht eindeutig einen eigenen Weg und zeigt in sich stimmige Mode. Timm Süßbricht versucht nicht zu übertreiben, oder angestrengt herauszustehen, sondern ganz einfach einen guten Job zu machen, und das gelingt ihm.

Supposedly, Barre Noire is a label which you should observe. This label is one of the most promising at the moment. Even stars are said to admire the creations of the young designer. But is this label really that special?
Barre Noire was founded by Timm Süßbricht in the year 2009. Thus, the label can be considered a newcomer in a vast ocean of newcomers, from which it has to climb the top of the fashion Olympus. But it seems that Süßbricht doesn’t have any problems with this difficult undertaking. After all, he is simply someone who draws attention, as he is known as the paradise bird among the grey pigeons.
For the fall and winter in 2013, he seems to do his reputation as paradise bird justice. While many other fall and winter collection are relatively dark, Süßbricht has poured pots full of luscious colors on this designs. Light blue and neon green interact and form a leopard pattern, decorating a short and high-necked longsleeved dress. Luscious pink and red nuances are used for a paisley pattern and turn a simple pantsuit into something explosive.
While the fall and winter collection by Barre Noire just drips with colors, the summer is rather discreet in terms of colors. In 2014, the designs by Süßbricht are white and clean. But the lookbook doesn’t fail to delight fashion fans. The setting, the expression of the mannequin, the entire presentation of this clean clothing looks magnificent. It looks almost dramatic and leaves an absolutely powerful impression.
Barre Noire definitely has a distinctive style, creating yet harmonic fashion. He never tries to exaggerate and never intends to stand out to an extreme extent. He just tries to implement his concepts which definitely will lead him to more successes in the future.
