In meinem letzten Blog-Eintrag habe ich 2 Neuzugänge in meiner Lippenstiftsammlung erwähnt. Die Milani Colour Statement Lipsticks habe ich schon lange im Auge, nur habe ich mich immer mit der Farbauswahl schwer getan. Auf CherryCulture kosten sie $5,75, mit dem Rabatt war das also ein mega Schnäppchen. Wenn ihr Fragen bezüglich der Lieferzeiten und Preise bei CC habt, schaut euch gerne meinen letzten HAUL-Post an.
Wie ihr unschwer erkennen könnt, ist die Verpackung in einem schönen Gold. Die Farbe der jeweiligen Lippenstifte sind unten am Boden erkennbar, was ich sehr hilfreich finde. Der Lippenstift selbst ist unglaublich pigmentiert und lässt sich mit einem Mal gut verteilen. Das Beste an dem Lippie ist wieder mal der Geruch. Er ist sehr leicht und duftet nach Wassermelone!

Packaging wise, you can see the tubes are gold. What I find extremely helpful is that the true colour of the lipstick is visible at the bottom of the tube. The brand claims that these Milani babies provide a full coverage application in one stroke. I’d say that’s true with my two lipsticks as they are incredibly bold and pigmented. These are also said to contain Vitamins A, C and E to moisturize the lips. They are also slightly drier than the Maybelline Color Sensational but have a better staying power.
As for how they feel on the lips, they glide on really nicely which means you don’t have to work as much to build up the colour. The best thing about them, next to their color range, ist he scent. It’s no super fruity but smell ever so slightly like watermelon.
21 Sangria (Matt)
Das ist einer der wenigen, matten Tönen aus der ganzen Lippenstiftserie. Auf den Lippen sieht dieser Ton etwas rötlicher aus als in der Verpackung selbst, man kann die Farbe aber wunderbar aufbauen zu einem tiefen, beerigen Lila.
21 Sangria (Matte)
This is the lone matte lipstick amongst the plums an berries and I simply adore it. The color comes off on the lips slightly more red than what you’d expect when you look at the tube. But it’s buildable so the lighter you apply, the more red it will look. I personally prefer to build it up to a deep berry look. Just because this is a matte finish doesn’t mean that this will dry out your lips. I found it to be surprisingly gentle to the lips.
15 Hot Pink Rage (Matt)
Ein schönes Pink mit einem matten Finish. Es hat eher wärmere Untertöne und könnte auf meinem Hauttyp sogar als Barbiepink durchgehen. Es hat mehr Rottöne als violette Töne in sich.

This matte formula is really close to the creams in the line of the pinks and corals, but just slightly less shiny. It’s a warm fuchsia tone, less purple-ish, more red.
