„Schnitt: Körper: Material“…ja, hier habe ich das Gefühl, dass dazu nicht mehr viel gesagt werden muss. Das Thema von Yasmin Koppe, auch eine der 13 Abschlussdesigner der HTW Berlin, sagt so ziemlich alles aus. Aber auch nur ziemlich, weswegen ich euch ihre Kollektion genau vorstelle:
Als 10. Show Act liefen fünf Models der jungen Designerin zu poppiger 80er Jahre Underground Musik auf die Bühne. Während der Präsentation dachte ich an futuristische Manga- oder Anime-Outfits. Das mag einerseits daran liegen, dass alle Models, ob maximal pigmentiert, asiatisch oder europäisch die gleiche Perücke trugen; ein kurzer, platinblonder Pagenschnitt. Andererseits erschufen die dünnen Westen und Jacken eine Art Kimono-Effekt, der zurzeit wieder echt angesagt ist.
Der Wow-Effekt der Kollektion liegt in den Texturen. Selbstbewusst betritt das erste Model mit einem tiefblauen, bauchfreien Top die Bühne. Es scheint aus Neopren zu sein. Dagegen schimmert die ausgestellte Hose seidig zart und reflektiert das Licht sanft. Semi-transparente Stoffe bedecken flächendeckend und eröffnen dennoch einen Blick, der mehr erahnen lässt, als preiszugeben. Die langen, großzügigen Schnitte werden ausgeglichen durch die sehr kurzen Oberteile.

“Schnitt: Körper: Material” which means “Cut: Body: Material”- this is the topic of Yasmin Koppe. I have a feeling that there is actually not much to describe because the topic says it all, almost at least. That’s why I would like to introduce you to the world o Yasmin Koppe.
As the tenth show act, the five models of the young designer walked, while cheesy underground 80ies music was played in the background. During the presentation, I really had to think of futuristic manga and anime outfits. Maybe this association was caused by the models who all wore the same wig – a short, platinum blond pageboy cut – no matter whether they were black, Asian or European. Furthermore, the thin vests and jackets were similar to kimonos which are once again very en vogue at the moment.
The wow factor however lies in the textures of the collection. The first model enters the catwalk confidently, dressed in a deep blue cropped top. The top seems to be made of neoprene. The pants which were presented were shimmering silkily and delicately, softly reflecting the light. Semi-transparent fabrics cover the body and yet give you an insight or a mere assumption of what can lie behind the clothing. The long, wide cuts are balanced by the very short tops
