Olympia Le-Tan präsentiert sich so rätselhaft, wie der Name selbst und lädt mit den Kollektionen in die verwunschene Welt der Märchen und Sagen ein.
Die Herbst/Winter Kollektion 2013 nennt sich „Schnitzel with Noodles“ und zeigt sich kindlich verspielt und erinnert sehr an ländliche Gegenden. Insbesondere erinnern die Designs an Bayerische Kleidungstraditionen – gemeint sind dabei Dirndl und Lederhosen. Die Kollektion spielt mit den gegensätzlichen Farben Rot und Blau und mischt sie mit Schwarz, Weiß und Grau. Obwohl die Designs ab und zu eher bieder wirken, sind sie auf der anderen Seite wiederum überaus aufreizend.
Eine langärmlige Bluse ist hoch zugeknöpft bis zum Mandarinkragen und erinnert an eine anständige Trachtenbluse. Dazu werden ein bestickter Gürtel und eine sehr kurze Hose getragen. Weiße Kniestrümpfe sind das i-Tüpfelchen und der Look ist alles in allem so sexy wie die Klischee-Schuluniform.
Unter der Kategorie Accessoires sind bei Olympia Le-Tan jede Menge Bücher zu finden, welche allesamt von Märchen handeln – Hänsel und Gretel, Heidi und auch ganz viele Neuaufarbeitungen. Dies ist wohl inspiriert durch ihre Liebe zu Büchern, welche von ihrem Vater herrührt. Von den Büchern führt es weiter zur Musik. Kleine Koffer haben „Haydn“ oder „Beethoven“ aufgedruckt und dienen als Umhängetaschen. Es wird aber noch eine Stufe skurriler. Die viereckigen Boxen werden weiterentwickelt zu kleinen Häusern, wo eine komplette Fassade mit Menschen aufgedruckt ist. Ein Henkel dran und es ist eine Tasche. Genauso verfährt die Designerin mit Milchkartons.
Olympia Le-Tan ist ein Label voller Kuriositäten und ungewöhnlichen Herangehensweisen an die Welt der Mode und Trends. Einfach Fabelhaft.

Olympia Le-Tan tends to present herself in public in a very mysterious way, inviting us into the magical world of fairytales and myths with her collections.
The fall and winter collection in 2012 is called “Schnitzel with Noodles” and seems to be characterized by an infantile playfulness and the flair of the countryside. The designs in particular make us think of Bavarian traditional clothing which means dirndl and leather pants. The collection plays with the very contrasting colors red and blue, while mixing these colors with rather neutral colors like black, white and grey. Although the designs sometimes appear a bit old-fashioned on the one hand, some pieces surprise us with an almost sexy aura.
One long-sleeved blouse by Olympia Le-Tan is buttoned-up and marked by a mandarin collar, which makes it look a lot like a traditional piece of clothing. In addition, an embroidered belt and a very short pair of pants is worn. White knee socks are the topping. In the end, the sexiness in this look is evoked by the interplay between traditional elements and modern influences.
Under the category accessories, you can find a lot of books at Olympia Le-Tan. The books always deal with fairytales. Hansel and Gretel, Heidi and many rather new editions can be found. The designer’s fable for fairytales in general is inspired by her love for books which is much influenced by her father. Her love for books leads us to her love for music. Small suitcases have the captions and names “Haydn” and “Beethoven” printed on them. Although looking like small suitcases, these are shoulder bags. Nonetheless, there is stuff even more bizarre. The square boxes can look like small houses with a complete façade including humans as part of the print. The bag has one handle attached. On top, even bags similar to milk cartons are available.
Olympia Le-Tan is a label full of curiosities and unusual approaches to the world of fashion and trends. This is truly wonderful.
