Illesteva wurde 2009 als eine Reaktion auf die gängige Brillenmode in New York gegründet. Die geistigen Eltern wollten ästhetische und traditionelle Formen mit Innovationen verbinden, um so einen frischen Wind in die Großstadt zu bringen. Inzwischen stellen sie auch Taschen, Rucksäcke und Regenschirme her. Alle unter demselben Credo. http://www.illesteva.com/
Brillen: Die Brillen verbinden klassische Formen (wie runde Hornbrillen) geschickt mit kleinen Details, welche das Design auflockern und ihm zu einem jugendlichem Bild verhelfen. Sei es eine kleine Abwandlung in der Form der Gläser oder eine Art „Brücke“, welche zwischen denselben konzipiert wird. Es fällt dir auf den ersten Blick auf, das was anders ist, aber was, das kannst du erst auf den zweiten Blick feststellen. Es gibt für Damen und Herren Sonnen- sowie Sichtbrillen.
Taschen: Die Taschen-Serien gibt es in verschiedenen Materialien. „Jane“, „Perry“ und „Charlie“ bestehen neben herkömmlichem Leder auch aus Schlangenhaut. Dies verhilft ihnen zu einem exotischen Anblick. Es gibt Rucksäcke und kleine Handtässchen. Besonders ins Auge fiel mir die Tasche Namens „Waverly Camo Python“, eine kleine, kreisförmige Handtasche aus Schlangenleder im Bonbon-Camo-look.
Regenschrime: Die Regenschirme sind ein Hingucker schlechthin. Von außen sehen sie noch nach normalen und handelsüblichen Schirmen aus, doch die Innenseite ist bunt bedruckt. Eulenaugen blicken einen an, oder Leopardenmuster ergibt einen wilden Look. Aber die Schönsten unter ihnen sehen aus wie große Blumen.

Illesteva was founded in New York in 2009 as a reaction to the mainstream eyewear. The spiritual parents wanted to combine esthetical and traditional shapes with each other, paring them with innovation, in order to make a new fresh breeze blowing through the metropolises in the emtire world. By now, the label also fabricates bags, rucksacks, umbrellas and much more. But all products stand under the same principles of Illesteva’s design. http://www.illesteva.com/
Glasses: The glasses virtuously unite classical shapes such as the round horn-rimmed glasses and small details, which loosen up the design and help the look to achieve a juvenile touch. Be it a slight variation in the shapes of the glass lenses or a kind of bridge which is placed between them, you can tell immediately that something is different, innovative. However, what exactly is different from usual glasses can only be figured out at second glance. The label offers sunglasses and spectacles for men and women.
Bags: The bag series are made of different materials. “Jane”, “Perry” and “Charlie” even consist of snake leather apart from usual leather types. This contributes to a very exotic look. Rucksacks and small hand bags are available as well. But the bag which particularly caught my eye was a bag called “Waverly Camo Python”, a small circle-shaped handbag made of snake leather in a bonbon-colored camo look.
Umbrellas: The umbrellas are the ultimate eye-catcher. At first glance, they seem to be ordinary umbrellas if you are only looking at the exterior. But the interior side is covered with colorful prints. Owl eyes stare at you; leopard patterns give the umbrellas a wild look. But the most beautiful ones among them look like gigantic flowers.
