Es sind eher dicke Wecker für viel Geld im Flavor-Flav-Style. Das ist ein echtes Statussymbol im Unterstatement-Style. Die Uhren können ruhig aus schlichtem Edelstahl sein. Das einzige, was wirklich für die modischen Männer von heute zählt, ist die Größe und der hohe Preis. Was sollte ein echter Mann denn schon mit so einem kleinem Teil anfangen können? NICHT VIEL!!
Bei Männern aus Hollywood gibt es nur ein Motto, wenn es um Uhren geht, „Auffallen um jeden Preis“. Mit Uhren von Audemars, Hublot und Panerai ist das kein Problem, also schlag zu. Für die Frauen ist es da eher wichtig, modisch zu sein. Selten kommt bei ihnen eine Uhr, mit dem Preis eines Mehrfamilienhauses, an die Hand. Ihnen reicht eine verhältnismäßig günstige Uhr von Marc Jacobs für 300€. Hauptsache, die Uhr hat ein paar Glitzersteine und ist ein echtes Goldstück.
