Aus einer Familie stammend, in der Vater wie auch Mutter im Modebereich tätig sind, war schnell klar, dass auch Vanessa Bruno ins Modegeschäft einsteigen wird. Außergewöhnlich locker und manchmal auch mit Antifit beginnt die Herbst/Winter 2013 Kollektion von Vanessa Bruno. Es werden Hosen-Anzüge präsentiert, die aussehen als wären sie von den Freunden der Frauen und nicht von den Frauen selbst. Der Einstieg ist sehr maskulin und damit eher ungewöhnlich für das sonst eher feminin-schicke Label.
Zunächst scheinen die Models in den Kleidern unterzugehen, doch das ändert sich schnell. Leichte, lockere, schwingende Kleidchen zeigen sich auf dem Laufsteg, meist kombiniert mit geradlinigen Mänteln. Der Reißverschluss ist leicht aus der Mitte verschoben, es legt sich Pelz über die Schultern, Taschen aus einem anderen Stoff sind angebracht und der abgerundete Kragen sorgt dafür, dass das ganze niedlich wirkt.
Generell wird der Stil immer süßer und weiblicher, sowie der Ausschnitt immer tiefer wird. Kurz ist das Kleid und Weiß, mit einem silbernen Muster aus Pailletten auf der Vorderseite. Wie die meisten Kreationen von Vanessa Bruno ist auch diese nicht tailliert sondern fällt gerade bis etwa in die Mitte der Oberschenkel. Der Ausschnitt geht in einer V-Form bis kurz vor den Bauchnabel. Feminin und chic, Vanessa Bruno bleibt sich treu, durch und durch. Selbst in den eher maskulin wirkenden Anzügen sehen die Frauen trotzdem weiblich aus. Die Designerin hat wohl ein Händchen dafür, Weiblichkeit aus allem und jedem heraus zu kitzeln.

Yes, it starts with a very masculine touch, which is very unconventional, because the label principally is very chic and feminine.
Initially, the mannequins seem to be drowned and devoured by the dresses, but the first impression is deceptive. Light and loose, floating dresses are presented on the catwalk, mostly combined with straight-cut coats. The zips of the coats are slightly decentered; fur is attached to the shoulders, while the pockets sewn onto the coat are made of a completely different material. In the end, the rounded collar is meant to make the coat look somewhat cute.
In general, the initially masculine style becomes more and more feminine and cuter if you look at the collection further. The dress in white is short and embellished with silver patterns made of sequins at the front. Just like most creations by Vanessa Bruno, this dress is not waisted and ends at the middle of the thighs. The neckline is shaped like a V and can be discreet or plunging, almost reaching the belly button. Feminine and chic, Vanessa stays true to herself, by all means. Even in the rather masculine suits the wearer stays feminine. The designer truly has a sense for emphasizing the femininity and for squeezing every bit of womanliness out of the wearer.
