„Hemyca London“ ist das von Helen Clinch und Myra Nigris gegründete Luxuslabel – just for women! Sie trafen sich während ihres Studium an dem Londoner College für Fashion. Im Februar 2007 war es nun so weit, da erblickte Hemyca das Licht der Fashionwelt. Das Ziel ist es, Hemyca zum Synonym für Luxus und Qualität werden zu lassen. Ein Meilenstein in der Karriere der beiden war 2008, als Vogue HEMYCA zu “One of fashion’s finest up-and-coming designers“ kührte.
Im Mai 2012 präsentierten sie der Queen Elisabeth und Prinz Philip ihre Autumn/Winter Kollektion. Seit November nutzen Sie auch den asiatischen Markt, besonders in Hong Kong, wo es auch eine Boutique gibt. Hemyca London hat insgesamt sieben davon. Drei in UK, einen in Hong Kong, einen Marseille, New York & Italien.
Generell wird der Bespoke-Service immer beliebter. Ihr könnt einzelne Parts aus der bestehenden Kollektionen rauslösen und zu einem eigenen Lieblingsstück kriieren. Die Fertigstellung eines solchen Unikats dauert bis zu sechs Wochen und benötigt drei Fittings. So gibt es keine Restriktionen was Größe und Körperform betrifft.
Hemyca Londons Fashion beschreibt man am besten mit Begriffen wie, geometrisch, durchdacht, edel, straight, feminin, qualitativ hochwertig, stilvoll & elegant.
Um die femininen Vorzüge zu betonen bedarf es keiner überladender Schnörkel. Es gibt Ornamente, ja! Aber das Vorkommen der Spitze/Ornamente ist in geometrische Abschnitte aufgeteilt und kontrastiert zu den gradlinigen Schnitten, die sich manchmal überlagern und so einen verspielten Hauch in das Outfit zaubern. „Hemyca London“ is a luxury label founded by Helen Clinch and Myra Nigris – just for women! They met each other during their studies at a London fashion college. In February 2007 the time had finally come, that is when Hemyca was born into the fashion world. The aim is to make Hemyca become a synonym for luxury and quality. They have hit a milestone in their carrier, when Vogue entitled HEMYCA as “One of fashion’s finest up-and-coming designers.”
In May 2012 they presented their Fall/Winter Collection to Queen Elisabeth and Prince Philip. In November they even started in the Asian market, especially in Hong Kong where they also have a little store. Hemyca has seven of those. There are three located in the UK, one in Hong Kong and one each in Marseilles, New York and Italy.
In general the bespoke-service is gaining more and more popularity. You can take parts from the current collection and make your very own most favorite garment from these parts. Making a unicum like that takes up to six weeks and needs three fittings. This way there are no restrictions in terms of size and silhouette.
Hemyca Londons Fashion is best described with adjectives such as geometrical, sophisticated, gallant, straight forward, feminine, high quality, stylish and elegant.
To underline a woman’s extras you don’t need obnoxious squiggles. There are ornaments, indeed! However, the lace and the ornaments are divided into geometrical segments and create a contrast to the straight cuts that sometimes overlay, thus giving the outfit a frisky touch to it. What we liked most about the current collection by Hemyca London are the various styles in which several pieces are designed at the same time, leaving an ordered and sophisticated impression. This is their gallant and luxurious image’s foundation.
