Ever since I posted my little gems from the Cinderella collection by MAC on Instagram, a lot of girls have asked me how I liked the Beauty Powder in this collab. That’s essentially the reason why I decided to put together a little pocket review for you, you know, just to tell you how I liked “Mystery Princess” and whether or not you should try to hunt it down.
MAC regularly brings out so-called “Beauty Powders” usually included in limited collections. They’re normally Highlighters but can also be used as an overall powder or blush and bronzer. In this case however, it was definitely a Highlighter. “Mystery Princess” is quite light and has a lot of silver-y glitter particles. It’s absolutely stunning to look at but I personally find it really hard to work with. The powder is quite dense, which basically means that you need an equally dense brush to get a nice amount of product on your face. I initially used a normal brush but really had to struggle with it for minutes and still could not see any product on my face.
It’s definitely a nice-to-have and looks pretty on your vanity but it definitely is not worth its 30€. Especially seeing that the prices have gone up substantially now that everything’s sold out. I mean the products are handled for double of the original price on eBay, Kleiderkreisel etc.
Collectors would enjoy this product but I personally will sell mine in the near feature because it’s sadly a NOT for me.
